This term is appropriate for the Philippine Normal University – South Luzon (PNUSL) because of its distinct local characteristic and identity. PNUSL is geographically located in the coconut basket of the Philippines – Lopez, Quezon. As a National Center for Teacher Education, its mission is to link technology and livelihood education to philosophical, sociological, historical, psychological and political contexts.
